AMBIO will be the International Meat Conference organiser in 2019

Ambio SA is the host of the Annual General Assembly of the European Livestock and Meat Trades Union (UECBV) and Conference of the Young European Meat Committee (YEMCo). It will take place in Athens, for the first time, between the 7th and the 9th of November 2019. The Conference is being coordinated by EDOK, the Greek Interprofessional Meat Organization.

The International Meat Conference

The conference’s site has been launched and electronic registration has begun! AMBIO will be the International Meat Conference organiser in 2019.

Our company expects that the event will attract a high number of expert delegates. The delegates will be from all around Europe and Greece due to its tight agenda and high-specialised speakers.

AMBIO provides consulting and advisory services for public and private sector entities, with interests in the fields of meat industry.

So, UECBV yearly General Assembly and YEMCo Conference will take place in Greece for the first time. And AMBIO will be the International Meat Conference organiser in 2019 in the historic city of Athens. Moreover, delegations, among other activities, will have the chance to visit animal plants of the area.

The European Livestock and Meat Trades Union (UECBV)

The European Livestock and Meat Trades Union (UECBV) is the EU voice of national federations representing livestock markets, livestock traders (cattle, horses, sheep, pigs), meat traders (beef, horse meat, sheep meat, pig meat), and the meat industry (slaughterhouses, cutting plants, meat preparation plants).

Specifically, UECBV counts 53 national or regional federations in 24 out of the 28 Member States of the European Union. But also in Japan, Norway, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine. To clarify, in total, some 20,000 firms of all sizes and over 230,000 jobs are within the UECBV. And its national and international federations.
