AMBIO sponsors the 4th Congress of Geographic Information Systems

AMBIO was a gold sponsor in the 4th Congress of Geographical Information Systems and Spatial Analysis in Agriculture and Environment, organised by The Agricultural University of Athens. The Congress took place at the Conference Centre of Agricultural University of Athens, on 24-26 May 2022.

The aim of all 4 conferences (2015-2017-2019-2022) is to disseminate the efforts of the Greek scientific community in the field of digital geospatial technologies in the primary sector and the environment.

AMBIO’s president and CEO, Mr. Filippos Petridis was hosted in the IV Session: Fisheries and Aquaculture, Sustainability and Environmental Protection. The title of his intervention was «Geographic Information Systems as a Tool for Marine Spatial Planning. The case of Allocated Zones for Aquaculture (AZA)»
