Aquaculture Congress 2026

Blue Growth, Global Vision

15 - 16 May 2026

Megaron Athens International Conference Centre

Aquaculture's Premier Meeting Point

Since 2018, the Aquaculture Congress has grown into one of the most important meeting points for the aquaculture community. It is a dynamic forum where producers, investors, researchers and policy makers exchange knowledge and experiences that shape the future of the sector. Building on this track record, the 2026 edition further strengthens international cooperation to support sustainable growth and technological innovation.

Aquaculture Congress 2026 is expected to bring together more than 900 participants, on-site and online, from at least 12 countries. With over 35 sponsors and exhibitors, the Congress is a key platform for showcasing European aquaculture.

The program

The program focuses on the developments shaping aquaculture in Greece and internationally. Sessions will address European policies, technological solutions that improve farm management and efficiency, critical sustainability challenges, and the ways aquaculture supports nutrition and human health. Special emphasis will be placed on the contribution of women and young professionals to the future of the sector.

The Congress will host distinguished guests, including officials from the European Commission's Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), experts from Greece and abroad, and representatives of academic institutions, research centres and the business community. Their presence will ensure a comprehensive and meaningful dialogue on the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The program will also feature targeted B2B meetings, offering direct contacts, networking and the development of new partnerships in Greece and internationally.
